Bon Echo

A few weeks ago I went to Bon Echo. I have some fond childhood memories of Bon Echo and I really enjoy going there. I kind of thought I would get some pretty cool shots while I was there, but the water was very wavy and I was in a little kayak, so it was very difficult to take a picture at all not to mention a good picture! These pics were all taken with my Xacti digital underwater camera/recorder. Obviously it wouldn't take the greatest quality, but it is an amazing investment!! I don't have to worry if it's raining, or if a giant wave takes over my kayak and soaks everything.
This gives you an idea of the size of the waves.  They were still bigger than they look in this picture.  Some even washed into my kayak!

Can you see Mark in the kayak?  It's a big rock!

On the Farm

So I spend a lot of my weekends on a farm. A real farm. Farming. Sort of. I'm afraid of the big machines. So I won't use the tractor or the rototiller. The farm is an excellent place to take pictures. This is my collection so far this year.

This is the backside of a weed... A weed's backside. Kinda pretty. Taken with my Pentax point and shoot.

These trees are everywhere around the farm. I cannot get enough of them! But every time I try to capture them in a picture, they just don't look as good. Changing this one to sepia made it look a bit better, but still does not do them justice! (Pentax point and shoot)

And then there's the pond. I could spend hours at this pond just watching and photographing. I absolutely love it! (Pentax)

Another weed asking me to take it's picture. I obliged.
This will not be the last flower you will see on this blog.
Flowers are so easy to photograph and they are so beautiful in their own ways.
That's all for now! After sifting through all my photos for this year alone, I can't wait to put some of the others on here!

Pond Life

Ok, so I know I promised to actually do this... My procrastination skills have impressed even myself! I plan to put some photos up this weekend when I have some time. So I thought for now I would leave you with these little pictures. They are not great quality, not professional (nor were they meant to be), they are simply intersting and a little sweet (I think).

These photos were taken from a video (which is why some are a little grainy) using my Xacti underwater digital camera/video. The video was taken underwater in a small pond.

I can't quite figure out how to layout the pictures the way I want them, so for now the pictures are going to stay where they are - at the top of this post.
