Christmas 2009 was amazing for me. My parents and I decided to go visit my Gramma in the country for Christmas instead of her making the 2 and a half hour drive to us. The original plan was to leave for home on Boxing Day, however there was an ice storm Christmas night. When we woke in the morning, everything was covered in a sheet of ice. We weren't going anywhere. So I took the opportunity to take some photos. Thankfully we brought the SLR. (Of course I always have my trusty point-and-shoot on hand for those macro shots!)
